About Me

  • The first 25 years of adult, professional life was in primary school education – (13 years as a head teacher)
  • For 2 years I trained school governors
  • For 16 years I was vice-principal of a university training course for ordinands
  • I am now a hospital chaplain
  • I was ordained in the Church of England in 1989 and have been a priest since 1994
  • In 1992 I gained the Diploma in Counselling and Supervision from Roehampton Institute
  • I was accredited by BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) – (www.bacp.co.uk) in 2001
  • I qualified as an HG therapist in 2007 – (Human Givens Institute)
  • My approach is to focus on alleviating distress quickly to encourage health and wellbeing, coming from an HG perspective.


Human Givens Approach

Human beings have emotional needs and the resources to meet those needs.  When needs are met and resources used well then human beings thrive.  HG therapy will enable you to recognise and understand the cause of problems and difficulties and to discover effective responses.  This leads to well-being.

PTSD Resolution
